Starting your own business can be daunting at first, and it require lots of patience. You need to take your time off from your life, and dedicate some hours to your business. If you’re like me (link to article on how to start a business when managing a 9-5 job) when you first begun your business, you’d understand that having a side hustle can be tiring.
If I knew this earlier, I wouldn’t have been so tired. Seriously, my friend!
The key to being an Organized Fempreneur is to understand that it is important to have a good start. In fact, I’ve spoken to a couple of business coaches who agree with me when I say that your success in business is highly dependent on your organization. You’ll end up feeling stressed if you’re not organized, and that’s not a good way to start your business, babe!
Why is it important to be organized
You can start being organized by exercising some of the following tips I’ve learnt during my journey as a Fempreneur:
Decide how much time are you willing to spend on your business
This includes the activities you’d do in the business and on the business. Activities in the business includes things like sending email, taking photos for social media, uploading photos, etc. Activities on the business includes things like learning a course on marketing, networking at meetup events, etc.Finalise how long you’d take to complete one project you’d like to focus your sales on.
For example, if you’re going to offer Logo Design, factor in the amount of time taken to actually complete the project.Create SMART goals and schedule your work and projects.
We go in-depth into this in our 5-Day Goal Setting ChallengeLastly, decide on which systems you’d use and stick to that.
I realized during my days starting out that I wasted a lot of time switching from one platform to another. It really isn’t healthy.
And if you haven’t already, join our Fearless Fempreneurs Facebook Group where I have my community of women entrepreneurs gathering to help one another start and grow their business!
Head on over here to be part of my not so clandestine operation!
Keep learning and keep believing in yourself, because the world needs an inspiration just like you.
