First, you need to work on your branding.

If you have a company or an organization in the business, it is important for you to be the forerunner and for you to be in front of your target audience; because you are the owner,

who better to talk about your business than you.

You know what you want and you know how you can create impact and make changes in some else’s life. So you should be in front, now, in the event if that is not possible for whatever reasons, you need to choose someone who truly believes in your organizational values.

A lot of brands and a lot of personal brands don’t have values. Values are super important and I want that to be one of the most important things that you should be working on in order for you to build a brand online.

In Fempreneur Secrets, we really value being actionable. Being actionable simply means that anything we share--whatever it is, has to have simple steps. Actionable steps that you can take so that you can implement it into your business immediately.

You can think of your own values, work on it, and above all, choose the values that truly represent your organization, your business, and your brand. The cost of building a brand that has values: absolutely nothing.

Second, is to hone your voice.

When you want to become visible online, you need to hone your voice. Now, what do I mean by honing your voice? You need to know who you are creating content for, you need to know who you are speaking to, and at the same time, you also need to know how to deliver what you want to talk about.

We’ve got the who, we’ve got the how, and we’ve also got the what. All these three things are important when you are trying to deliver content online. Above all, you want to hone your voice itself.

Know that it is super important for you to be in front to talk about all of these things. You need to be confident in your own voice; in the way that you look, the way you deliver your message across. It can be fearful to be in front of a camera and it can be very challenging for you to come up in front of a microphone.

I can tell you a magic trick that I used many times which is to remember who you are truly creating the content for. If you can impact just one life that needed to hear what you have to share, you are creating a change in that person’s life. I tell you, the moment you think about that, you suddenly become a fearless fempreneur.

Last but not least is to pick a platform.

There are so many platforms available out there.

You will be confused or may even stumble on so many people telling you that Facebook is the platform to be on, Instagram is the one, YouTube is the one, and now, TikTok is the one.

Instead, I want you to use a platform based on where your audience is and also based on your comfortability. If you are not comfortable in a certain platform for a certain reason, there’s no point in delivering your content there.

You, first and foremost have to choose a platform, stick with it, and get freakin’ started. Just get started; that is the best advice I can give you.

Choosing a platform does not cost a thing. You just need to get started.
